Talking about his conversation with Alvaro, Bordalas stated: "Alvaro knows he made a mistake; this should serve as a lesson for him. We all go through periods of growth and make mistakes. He feels bad about it, but I believe he will learn from this experience."
Bordalas further commented on Yamal, saying: “He is a player who brings joy to us all. The comparisons people draw between him and Messi say so much. He's still young, and we hope he continues to entertain us and potentially become like Messi one day.”
Mentioning the timing of facing Barcelona, Bordalas remarked: “There’s never really an opportune time to face teams like Real Madrid or Barcelona... Right now we are full of confidence solely focused on tomorrow's match; if we want positive results out of it, there’s plenty that needs doing."
Bordalas also praised Flick's work at Barca: "Flick has done excellently in imprinting unique characteristics onto Barcelona's playstyle—it's attractive yet effective.”
The coach concluded by acknowledging Barça players' strength stating: “Barcelona boasts many incredibly talented players who have consistently proven their worth—we must be at our best to achieve good results against them.”
